Man under house arrest with ankle bracelet

House Arrest & GPS Monitoring

GPS Monitoring solutions consist of a unique single unit ankle bracelet and secure web-based application. The device is unique because it locates where no other devices locate (in shopping malls, houses, buses, cars, elevators, etc.) due to the use of a unique combination of the right mix of technologies.

Additionally, it is the only single unit device that offenders can bathe and swim in. The device has the longest battery life without requiring the offender to remember to carry extra batteries and accessories. No tools, cutting, or signal acquisition is necessary for installation, thereby cutting down on false alerts and improper installations. Time spent hooking up an offender is dramatically reduced – an average installation time is about 4 minutes.

GPS Locating & Monitoring

GPS technology combined with built-in cellular creates a design that can monitor someone’s location 24/7 with custom inclusion and exclusion zones and schedules. It is ideal for cases of victim abuse, house arrest, and alternatives to incarceration. Information can be immediately provided to those who are monitoring the individual’s location.

  • Serving courts, agencies and service providers throughout the criminal justice system, the GPS bracelet is advancing industry standards through unmatched reliability and ease of use, and on the go convenience of mobile applications.
  • Simple and Intuitive, the way technology should be. Because technology should facilitate the job you need to do rather than become a job in itself.

How It Works

^
Enrollee’s Family, Attorneys, Sheriff’s Offices or Judicial Representative would call or e-mail ASAP Monitoring with a description of the situation and the location the person is incarcerated or the circumstances of the enrollee’s charges.
^
An initial client payment is submitted prior to release.
^
Proof of payment authorization is faxed by ASAP Monitoring upon payment.
^
Experienced Agents from ASAP Monitoring would discuss the situation (House Arrest, GPS Monitoring, Court Ordered Monitoring, etc.) with the customer and determine the proper and required type of monitoring and would recommend the procedure for installation.
^
Documents would be provided to ASAP Monitoring (Court Orders, Probation Orders, etc.) to further refine the type of service and the conditions for monitoring including any Zone or Schedule restrictions.
^
Arrangements would be made with the customer for the date and time of installation.  Coordination of the actual install and requirements, if any, of the customer would be made by the installing Agent from ASAP Monitoring.
^
The install would take place after release and the Monitoring Agreement with ASAP Monitoring would be explained and signed by the enrollee.  All conditions would be explained and a check sheet for contact would be provided to the enrollee.
^
Post install contact would commence by ASAP Monitoring after the unit was installed and the Enrollee had experience with charging, maintaining the equipment, and zone or schedule restrictions.
^
Completion of program events would be completed by ASAP Monitoring after receipt of any final payments by the enrollee and receipt of the required Modification to Bond Orders, Probation Release Orders, etc.  Equipment would be scheduled for removal and return to ASAP Monitoring.
